About the design:

Trisha Pitura, Co-Founder and Creative Director of MINI TIPI, is a member of Nipissing First Nation whose Indigenous heritage and love of textiles shine through in her striking designs. Inspired by the Anishinaabe teachings, the Thunderbird symbolizes power, protection, strength, and survival. This sacred being brings the rains of spring and fall, reminding us to honour and respect all living things to ensure balance and life for all.
