Sustainable warmth inspired by traditional artistry

This everyday blanket is crafted from a soft, sustainable wool blend that’s perfect for cozying up by the fire, stretching across a queen bed, or packing along for your next adventure. The design is a digital interpretation of a birch bark biting—a traditional Indigenous art form—featuring fine, organic lines that echo the character of a birch tree. It’s soft, warm, washable, and finished with elegant trim for a refined look rooted in heritage.

Aleen Sparrow, an artist and model from Musqueam Territory, began learning traditional Salish weaving from her mother, Debra, in 2019—reconnecting with a sacred art form and inspiring the next generation. Alongside her mother and brother Isaiah, Aleen continues the Sparrow family legacy of weaving as a living expression of Musqueam culture, resilience, and storytelling. Their collaborative work, Generations, symbolizes the threads that bind past, present, and future—preserving ancestral wisdom through art..

Why we think you’ll love it: A one-of-a-kind design that blends cultural storytelling with everyday comfort and sustainability.
