About Linko Pottery
About Linko Pottery
Rooted in the traditions of Japanese ceramic art and shaped by life in Montreal and Prince Edward Island, Linko Pottery is where heritage and creative exploration come together. Originally from Kobe, Japan, Linko’s journey in pottery has been one of cultural fusion and quiet evolution—from her first exhibition at Montreal’s Matsuri Japon Festival to opening her own studio on the East Coast of Canada.
Guided by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi—the celebration of natural beauty and “perfect imperfections”—each piece is handcrafted with intention, honouring both the tradition of the craft and the subtle quirks that make every item truly one of a kind.
Today, Linko Pottery can be found in cafés, restaurants, and boutique gift shops across Canada, including in PEI, Québec, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia. And we’re so happy to now have Linko’s beautiful, distinctive work here in our boutique in New Brunswick.
Each hand-thrown piece captures the calming spirit of the Maritimes and the timeless elegance of Japanese design. A quiet joy of craftsmanship—meant to be used, loved, and admired.
