Dried Floral Arranging Workshop

When: Saturday, April 11 | 11:00 am–12:00 pm

Join us for a creative and hands-on dried floral arranging workshop hosted by Marmalade as part of Spring Fever by the Sea. This is an inperson event.

Led by Shannon-May, this relaxed and inspiring session is designed to give you the confidence to arrange flowers beautifully in a vase. The florals you'll be working with are the same dried bouquets our customers know and love—the very ones often styled throughout the shop. If you’ve ever admired those simple vase arrangements and wondered how to recreate them, this workshop is for you.

Long before opening Marmalade, Shannon-May worked as a florist. Though it’s been a couple of decades since she worked in the industry, her love for florals and creative instincts have never left. This workshop is a joyful return to those roots—and a chance to share techniques that are simple, approachable, and beautiful.

While this workshop focuses on arranging dried florals in a vase, the techniques shared apply equally to fresh flowers. You’ll leave with skills you can carry into the spring and summer—whether you're gathering wildflowers, picking up a bouquet at the local farmers' market, or bringing home blooms from your garden.

What’s Included

Each guest will:

• Receive a guided lesson on arranging dried florals in a vase
• Choose from 3–4 vase options
• Select from 4 curated bouquet colourways
• Have access to additional filler florals
• Take home their finished arrangement and any leftover stems
• An in true Marmalade fashion, a little goodie to take home

All tools and supplies will be provided.

Additional vases will also be available for purchase if guests would like to create a second arrangement using leftover florals.

Doors open at 10:30 am to allow time to settle in, choose your vase and florals, and mingle with fellow flower lovers before we begin.
